 Questions?

  • Atelier Vastag is run by Ida ister Vastag, a architect and freelance illustrator and Laslo Vastag, a painter and print maker. Our studio is based in Varazdin, Croatia.

  • Most of the time we illustrate or draw images that we think are interesting to translate into hand made screen prints that you can hang on a wall and enjoy. We can print up to 70x100 cm. Usual print runs are between 1 and 50 sheets. The majority of work in the studio is done manually. Artwork preparation is done either with high-precision film positives or by hand with ink, spray paint, different stencils or pens. We can also do giclee digital prints on fine archival paper. When it comes to paper, our preferred material is 100% cotton and mould-made by traditional mills, which stands for longevity, ink holdout, excellent dimension stability and an overall beauty.

We use non toxic water based inks including special cmyk colours, thermochromatic, phosphorescent, fluorescent or reflective inks.
